Full-Length Animated Music Video (feat. Burn7)

2017-04-02 08:36:25 by Axelstation

After quite a while, I've finally finished a brand new music video featuring the awesome talents of Burn7 (live here and on YouTube). Tokyo Ghoul is the focus, but even if you don't like anime, you may still enjoy it! There's also a speed animation for one of the more complex scenes via YouTube, so if you like that kind of stuff, you may enjoy seeing that as well. See you around!

Here's a new glimpse of what I'm currently working on. Some additional info can be found on my FB page for anyone who's curious! An additional preview can also be viewed via my YouTube.

Things to Come

Greetings folks who are kind enough to follow me! Or hell, if you came to my page by accident, hey to you too :P

So now that my latest project has been completed, things will be taking a slightly different turn. The next major project I have planned will be be very long-term, so you'll most likely see it closer to the end of the year. I'll be working on it bit by bit over the next 6 months or so, so I hope you'll look forward to it!

I won't restrict myself to just that though, I'll also be posting a couple short cartoons on my YouTube in between the large project. They most likely won't make it here because of the length, but can't say for sure. Anyways, if I'm quiet around here for the time being, check YT because there will definitely be some other things going on. If you're really curious, check my social media accounts for occasional updates and other news.

That's about it, take it easy guys!

Hello fellow Newgrounders, what's up? I wanted to make this post because the creator of There She Is!! (SamBakZa/amalloc) has launched a campaign to bring the series (plus some added cartoons and features) to DVD! Not only that, but the tiers have some nice perks for fans who want to give back. This is by far my favorite online animated series, and I wanted to spread the word because this deserves attention.

You can check out the details on the official Indiegogo page if you're interested.

Here's hoping we get it released :D

I should post more

Hello good people who may or may not be reading this! I hope you’ve all been doing well lately and have yourself a good holiday this year. Can’t believe the year is almost gone already, but then again, time has gone at a breakneck speed for me personally. In work and out of work, I’ve managed to kick out 13 cartoons this year, and for a growing artist/animator, that’s a pretty good addition to the collection. It’s been quite the challenge, that’s for sure, but (without sounding pretentious) I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made. Hell, I somehow managed to get two front page submissions which I couldn’t be happier about. I also got the opportunity to work with some cool people on some projects, hopefully I'll be able to do more with them in the future.

If I had to pick the project I had the most fun with, it would probably be a tie between ‘Kirby’s Fishing Trip’ and ‘Special Delivery.’ They were definitely the most work-intensive, but ended up being very rewarding experiences. Fun fact: my Halloween cartoon that was well-received here was made over the course of only two days after a quick idea spark, and I was somewhat hesitant to upload it. So if you’re having second thoughts about posting a project, you might as well do it, you never know what’ll happen!

As for this next coming year, I’ve already got my next few cartoons planned out and ready to tackle. My next submission will be part of a collab featuring Kirby (I keep coming back to that little guy), and that should come out sometime in January. As such, I’m hard at work to finish it, commission work and family trip aside. Afterwards, I might start alternating between original ideas and parodies, but I don’t have anything set in stone yet, so we’ll see what happens there!

I’d like to finish up by saying thanks to everyone who’s supported me up to now. You guys are awesome, and between here and YouTube, I’ve got a nice little group to make stuff for. This year will be another one full of animating from me, and at this point, I’ll probably die with my tablet pen in hand, so look forward to many more submissions from me.

Stay cool guys, see you soon ;3

Leave a comment if you'd like, otherwise stay for some snacks (I mean it'd just be rude to send you on your way when you came all the way over here).
