Damn, you just had this sitting around? The mixing turned out great, killer sound all around!

Burn7 responds:

Ayy, good to see ya Axel!

Yeah, I have... Jeez probably 20-30 songs that have just been sitting collecting dust while I focus on other audio engineering stuff. But with all the new plugins and whatnot that I have all these older recordings make good practice for mixing.

It's been over 10 years of writing music and I still struggle with mixing things to a point where I think they sound good.

Wow, the flow and variation in this is great! Especially loving the synths together with the guitars, awesome sound. Nice work on this, you really went all out!

Burn7 responds:

I seriously can't believe you're still listening to my music. It's been almost 10 years dude, I feel like I should give you a fucking medal or something.

But sincerely, from the bottom of my heart... Thank you. You're one of the few people I truly look forward to hearing from when I post things.

You're the best and you deserve the best :)

A weird one for sure, but got a good vibe to it, and liking those guitars. Nice to see you dropping some new stuff!

Burn7 responds:

Thanks my man. I've been doing basically nonstop music writing for the past year for Tales of Nowhere so it's good to just kind of mess around occasionally.

It's also good to see you still around after all this time :] Seriously, I hope things are going well with you.

Killer energy, love how the song is structured as a whole. Awesome work on this!

EliteFerrex responds:

Thank you! This one's a real passion for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

In my opinion, this sounds a bit too intense for a puzzle-solver, but I could definitely see it in an RPG. That aside, the song itself is great. I love the overall feel of it, like there's a constant air of tension. Really dig that bit at 2:17 with the more isolated instrumentals too. Good stuff, too bad the game never came to fruition. At least some sweet music came of it :3

Burn7 responds:

Haha, well thanks for checking me out still. The game was... Not terrible, but it just didn't work. We ended up having too many members on our team to get anything done effectively. People overwrote each other's code, ideas were shot down that would have been cool... It's really weird doing these gamejams because I'm just sitting there at the deciding table like "Idgaf man, I just make the sounds".

I know I already said before, but I like the mix, it's a fun listen. While the piano is still a highlight for me, I think my favorite part would be the 1:00 - 1:24 bit, great stuff there. I also never knew that about the original Doom music, interesting that that's how it came to be.

Burn7 responds:

Doom is a very interesting story overall, I'm kind of... obsessed with it. Mmmm... John Romero....

O_O ANYWAY Thanks a bunch again for "playtesting" some of my songs, I'm giving that cell theme a pretty thorough rework since I've heard from a few people now and I want to try and make it as good as I possibly can.

As usual, I'm not familiar with the source material, but this was a really great track! The guitars and drums compliment each other nicely, and it all has awesome power to it. The calm bits were exceptional as well. Loved the intro, and 1:40 - 2:06 was a good break to build up to the rest. Great stuff, nice work mate! :D

Burn7 responds:

:D I always appreciate you taking the time to check out my stuff, even when you don't know the source material. If you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sa7cRml5w8

It's pretty barebones so it left me with a lot of room to improvise which was cool.

Anyway, thanks again for being you! 'Cause you da best.

This version does feel a lot tighter and has some more power to it overall. Very nice work bro ^^

Burn7 responds:

Thanks amigo! Glad you liked it! :D

I haven't heard any of the actual music for the game yet, but this is a nice catchy loop you got here. Have fun with the game :3

Burn7 responds:

Oh, I fucking did. I also posted a remastery of this version if you were interested in checking it out.

This is a great parody, did you do the vocals? Either way the cover is well done ^^

ViewtifulValentine responds:

Yeah that is me singing.

I like making cute art and other stuff, Dog bless.
